Find peace and harmony through mindful yoga practice

Philosophy
Yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning 'union'. It is connection of body and mind. Regular yoga practice creates harmony between the five aspects of health; physical, mental, emotional, social and environmental.
The modern narrative encourages doing, rushing, and continually striving for more. Yoga is the perfect antidote to this mind set; fostering a sense of peace and contentment with ourselves, exactly as we are.
Yoga, ultimately has the power to transform humanity and reshape our relationships, not just with each other but also with our planet.

My journey to yoga
I discovered yoga at a local temple through a dear friend. I am eternally grateful that I stepped through those beautifully decorated doors. I believe yoga has the power to change lives, and it certainly has changed mine. My entire perspective on life has changed. I have learnt to sincerely appreciate the little things that truly matter and tuned out from a lot of modern rhetoric. I have a new found sense of peace and calm.
My teacher training journey started purely as a quest for knowledge. I wanted to learn more about yoga philosophy and that was the simplest way to discover it. I fell into actual teaching by offering to cover a class at the temple where I started my yoga journey. I absolutely loved it and so did the class!! With encouragement from family and friends I set out to hold my own class and here I am, gratefully sharing my knowledge and passion with other yogis through Yogi's Choice.
I fill my classes with love, kindness, intention and presence. I simply share my passion with honesty and truth, which creates a little piece of magic.
Namaste
