Holistic yoga
Yoga is magic, benefiting each part of your body, mind and spirit. My classes are lovingly designed to create a sense of wellbeing, contentment and relaxation. Yogis are invited to use asanas, pranayama and meditation in class to connect body and mind. For more complex asanas, yogis are offered options according to how they feel at that moment in time.
My classes challenge but are not about tying yourself in knots trying to achieve the impossible! You are encouraged to listen to your own body and learn to recognise your needs. With a variety of classes to choose from there is something to suit everyone.
Yin yoga is a beautiful practice that aims to deepen flexibility by targeting the connective tissue via a longer hold of particular asanas. Yin is also a highly mindful practice encouraging you to slow down, breathe and take notice. This is the perfect practice for those who struggle with stillness of body and mind.
Which ever class you choose, you will step off your mat with a sense of calm and peace.

Yoga- a spicy vinyasa but still for all abilities. Wednesday 7-8pm @ Harwood Methodist Community Hub, Longsight, Harwood, BL2 3HX
Yin yoga- longer poses to target deeper. Thursday 9.30-10.30am @ Ainsworth Methodist Church Hall, Greenside, BL2 5SD
Yoga- an energising morning class for all abilities. Thursday 10.45-11.45am @ Ainsworth Methodist Church Hall, Greenside, BL2 5SD

Children's Yoga
Children are natural movers using movement for expression and discovery. Yoga invites them to move freely and mindfully with the breath. Yoga creates a way for them to feel safe, connected and calm.
Yoga can improve physical health, help develop emotional regulation and supports social learning.
Most importantly regular practice builds self-awareness, allowing children to create their own personal tool kit to use off the yoga mat when life becomes challenging.

Private classes offer the chance for you to explore the benefits of bespoke yoga sessions tailored to your specific needs, in the comfort of your own home. Choose from:
Yang yoga: this is the most familiar style of yoga, hatha or vinyasa or a mix to suit your needs.
Yin yoga: a beautiful practice to target deep into the connective tissue. A highly meditative practice it also helps to calm and still the mind.
Ayurveda yoga: these sessions are underpinned by the ancient holistic medicine system of Ayurveda. Yoga practice is specially created for you to balance your inner doshas, fostering realignment of your mind, body and spirit.
Yoga Nidra: also known as the 'yogi sleep' is not simply deep relaxation. Nidra is a profound journey of self-discovery to unearth your dreams and aspirations. It is a powerful tool to visualise and forge your path to the realisation of these dreams.
