Yoga for schools
Bringing yoga into an educational establishment allows opportunity for all children to access this beneficial practice.
Yoga improves fexibility, posture and strength. It can improve emotional regulation, social skills, listening and speaking skills and the understanding of complex ideas.
Yoga can improve children's propensity for learning by creating a sense of focus and calm. This can be particularly important around exam time and those periods of transition, such as preparing for high school.
Most importantly, as a holistic practice, yoga has the power to nurture a child's self esteem, enabling a happier and healthier life.

Walking Yoga
Combining gentle walks with yoga flows creates a gentle practice that blends mindfulness and movement. The connection with nature deepens mindfulness and self awareness, imparting a sense of grounding and unity which enhances our emotional wellbeing. This practice is the perfect way to help regulate the nervous system. Weather permitting we may even boost our vitamin D levels!
Try something new this summer. No equipment, gym membership or hours of practice. A gentle stroll round the park with some stretches and poses added in.
