Appreciating the simple things.

If reincarnation is a thing I would very much like to come back as a Hobbit, or maybe Moley from Wind in the Willows or even Victoria Plum of fairy woodland fame! These were some of my favourite books growing up and all embrace a simple life of appreciating nature, good food and drink and friendship.

Today started with a lovely breakfast watching the robin make umpteen food trips to feed his mate who is currently sitting on eggs. Then a leisurely walk with our beautiful dog Pippy. On returning home I indulged in one of life's great pleasures....

..................THE PEGGING OUT OF WASHING!!!!

At what point in life does this become one of the most pleasurable and satisfying things to do??!!
